These towering white cliffs were formed by the byproducts of a limestone quarry that operated in the area in the mid-1800s. Today, the cliffs are a popular destination for hikers, bikers, and nature lovers. The easiest way to reach the White Cliffs is to start at Koser Park in Bainbridge. From there, follow the Northwest Lancaster County River Trail for about 1.5 miles to the cliffs. The trail is paved and easy to follow, making it a great option for families with young children. Once you reach the cliffs, you can enjoy stunning views of the Susquehanna River and the surrounding countryside. There are also several hiking trails that lead to the top of the cliffs, where you can get even closer to these amazing formations. Hiking the White Cliffs of Conoy is a great way to enjoy the outdoors and learn about Pennsylvania's industrial history.
